4. Ornate Zine

Ornate, 2023

Ornate explores the mirrors that exist between religious art and film set design. It could be said the purpose of each is the antithesis of the other. Text from The Tree of Life, screenplay by Terrance Malick — a film that marries the two.

Digitally printed with screen printed typographic elements throughout. It is 5 1/2” x 6”. It was bound using a French Fold and is top stitched using an industrial sewing machine.
